This summer, I began creating a series related to Lapland. This piece was inspired by Lapland’s fishing culture: setting nets in the quiet fell lakes, fly fishing in clear streams, and the centuries-old connection to nature.

Fishing in Lapland is more than just a hobby – it’s a way of life, passed down from generation to generation.

This world has become increasingly dear to me, especially because of the unique light found in nature.

The original work was created using water-based materials, mixed media on paper.
