This summer, I began creating a series related to Lapland. This is one of the pieces – the fifth time on the journey north. Seeing reindeer on the road is a sign that you’ve arrived in Finnish Lapland – a place that has become increasingly dear to me, especially because of the unique light in nature.

The original work is made with water-based materials, using mixed media on paper.
